Bolsas europeas se desploman por el miedo a la expansión del coronavirus

Analistas explican que el miedo a que se siga extendiendo el coronavirus provoca fuertes caídas en los mercados europeos.

Las principales bolsas europeas sufren este lunes un fuerte golpe, con caídas que superan el 4% en el caso de Milán, ante el miedo que ha despertado la rápida expansión del coronavirus fuera de China y su irrupción en Europa, con el foco en Italia.

Poco antes de las 10:00 horas, Milán destaca al caer el 4,35% después de que se hayan elevado a cuatro los muertos por la epidemia. La cifra de contagiados se eleva a 185.

En el caso de España, el principal indicador de la Bolsa española, el IBEX 35, cede el 2,92%, mientras que en Fráncfort, las pérdidas alcanzan el 3,17%, y en París, el 3,39%. Londres, por su parte, cae el 2,59%.

Los analistas de IG explican que el miedo a que se siga extendiendo el coronavirus provoca fuertes caídas en los mercados europeos, que replican, asimismo, la tendencia negativa que ha registrado Asia, donde Seúl se ha desplomado el 3,87%, después de que Corea del Sur haya puesto al país en alerta máxima.

Ante el miedo que provoca la expansión del coronavirus y las dudas que surgen acerca del impacto que podrá tener en la economía, los inversores se decantan hoy por valores refugio como el dólar o el oro.

De esta manera, el euro se mantiene cerca de mínimos desde hace tres años, a 1,0840 dólares, mientras que el oro sube más de un 2% y revalida máximos desde principios de 2013, a 1.683 dólares por onza.

Por su parte, el precio de crudo Brent, el de referencia en Europa, baja más del 3%, hasta los 56,60 dólares.
