Escritor español de ciencia ficción y terror dictará talleres y presentará sus más recientes obras, Invasión y la antología de cuentos La Casa Ciega. ,El laureado escritor español David Roas visitará Lima del 15 al 20 de noviembre, en el marco de las actividades culturales organizadas por la Editorial Trascender, donde realizará una serie de presentaciones de su obras, entre ellas su más reciente antología de cuentos fantásticos La Casa Ciega (Editorial Trascender 2018) y su último libro Invasión. David Roas es un narrador de ciencia ficción y terror que también ejerce la docencia en la Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona, además de ser el crítico sobre lo fantástico más reconocido de España. Varios de sus relatos han sido traducidos a diferentes idiomas, entre los que destaca Bienvenidos a Incaland ambientado en nuestro país. Ha escrito diferentes ensayos como el premiado Entre los límites de lo real. Una definición de lo fantástico (2011). Dirige un grupo de estudios sobre lo fantástico (GEF) y Brumal, revista de investigación sobre lo fantástico. Las actividades comienzan este jueves 15 con una conferencia denominada "Usos y abusos del monstruo fantástico en la ficción posmoderna" en la Universidad Federico Villareal de 5:00 a 6:00 pm. El día viernes 16 a las 7:00 pm, presentará el libro La Casa Ciega en la librería Casa Tomada (Av. Petit Touars 3506, San Isidro), junto a los escritores Elton honores, Alejandro Neyra, Gonzalo Del Rosario y el editor y director de la Editorial Trascender, Mauricio Málaga. El evento contará con la presencia de personalidades académicas del mundo de la literatura, especialmente del género fantástico. El día lunes 19 de noviembre impartirá un taller de 10:00 am a 1:00 pm, denominado “Taller sobre microrrelato fantástico” en la librería Casa Tomada. Finalmente, el día martes 20 de noviembre a las 12:00 pm dictará una clase magistral en la Universidad Católica, invitado por el escritor Ricardo Sumalavia, por la tarde estará regresando a su natal Barcelona.
